Bird Technologies Group intoduces TX RX Systems, High Performance PIM-Rated Base Station Antennas in VHF, UHF and 700/800 MHz bands from Australia-based RF Industries (RFI).
Passive Intermodulation (PIM) is a form of interference caused by the mixing of several frequencies from multiple transmitters and passive devices such as cables, connectors and mounting hardware. Traditionally it impacted only high-end users, but growth of digital mobile radio systems and shared antennas makes PIM a serious concern to all users. BTG and RFI continue to supply world class PIM rated products to the North American market.
Bird will take responsibility for marketing and sales of the RFI base station antenna products in the world’s largest market for mobile radio systems. RFI will engineer, configure and manufacture the latest in low PIM rated base station antenna offerings.
The antennas offer best-in-class performance such as broad bandwidth, high gain, and high power rating, exceptional pattern stability across the entire band, as well as flexible configuration and space-saving mounting options. These features are perfectly suited to the latest site management requirements for digital mobile radio in the homeland security and public safety markets. The TX RX Systems broadband antennas are a series of robust, high power broad band omni-directional antennas designed to compliment wide band multicoupling systems.
